Congratulations to Karter Wilbert, winner of the inaugural Institute for the Humanities Undergraduate Research Prize for his project, “No tener límites: La monstruosidad de Susy Shock” about the transgender Argentinian artist, Susy Shock. Karter incorporated theories of gender and identity in his project, which analyzed the poetry of Susy Shock and discussed how she reinforces and redefines notions of womanhood.
